Attorney General Thurbert Baker announced today the appointment of Savannah resident Michael Vaquer to the Attorney General’s Water Advisory Council. The Council was formed in the Summer of 2003 to advise the Attorney General on water issues faced by the State of Georgia.

Over 15,000 Georgians who are eligible to receive payments from the Household Finance Settlement were mailed critical documents this week. To receive Settlement funds, eligible consumers must sign and return the “release form” by October 14, 2003.
Attorney General Thurbert Baker announced today an addition to Georgia’s program of reciprocal recognition to firearms permit holders from other states. Legislation passed in 1996 allowed Georgia to grant this privilege to citizens of states which recognized Georgia firearms permits.
