On Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, a Cobb County Grand Jury returned a 16 count indictment against Khiry Price for the commercial sexual exploitation of three juvenile females. Price is charged with three counts of Trafficking of Persons for Sexual Servitude (O.C.G.A. § 16-5-46(c)), one count of Aggravated Child Molestation (O.C.G.A. § 16-6-4), one count of Statutory Rape (O.C.G.A. § 16-6-3), one count of Pimping a Person under 18 (O.C.G.A. § 16-6-11), one count of Pimping a Person under 16 (O.C.G.A. § 16-6-11), one count of Pandering a Person under 18 (O.C.G.A. § 16-6-12), one count of Pandering a person under 16 (O.C.G.A. § 16-6-12), two counts of Simple Battery (O.C.G.A. § 16-5-23), 3 counts of Interference with Custody (O.C.G.A. § 16-5-45) and two counts of Enticing a Child for Indecent Purpose (O.C.G.A. § 16-5-4).

According to the indictment, in December 2013, Price enticed three juvenile runaway females for the purpose of sexual servitude. He is accused of advertising the juveniles on the Internet for the purpose of commercial sex and caused them to engage in sex acts with the buyers who responded to the advertisements. He is also charged with having sex with one of the juveniles and using physical force on two of the juveniles. The indictment contends that Price trafficked the juveniles out of a Super 8 motel on Six Flags Drive in Austell.

“Child sex trafficking is an unconscionable crime that victimizes too many vulnerable children,” said Attorney General Sam Olens. “My office is committed to seeking out the monsters who prey upon our children and bringing them to justice. I am grateful to Cobb County District Attorney Vic Reynolds for his cooperation and collaboration on this case. We look forward to working with his office to prosecute the defendant in this case to the fullest extent of the law.”

Trafficking of Persons for Sexual Servitude is punishable by ten to 20 years and a fine of up $100,000; Aggravated Child Molestation is punishable by 25 years to life; Statutory Rape is punishable ten to 20 years; Pimping a Person under 18 is punishable by five to 20 years; Pandering a Person under 18 is punishable by five to 20 years; Pandering a Person under 16 is punishable by ten to 30 years; Simple Battery is punishable by 12 months; Interference with Custody is punishable by 12 months; Enticing a Child for Indecent Purpose is punishable by 10 to 30 years.

Assistant Attorney General Camila Wright and Cobb County Assistant District Attorney Chuck Boring are prosecuting the case on behalf of the State of Georgia. The case was investigated by Agent Steve Blackwell of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
