Mr. Pearlberg has been the Director of the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit at the Attorney General’s office since March 2013. His unit has recovered in excess of $225 Million on behalf of the State. Previous to working at the Attorney General’s office, Mr. Pearlberg worked in the office of the District Attorney, Cobb Judicial Circuit for 25 years and left as the Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney. Mr. Pearlberg was also elected as the Ward 4 City Councilman for the city of Marietta. He served from 2006-2012. Mr. Pearlberg graduated from Long Island University in 1973. He received his law degree from John Marshall Cum Laude in 1976.
