Kathleen is also a member of the Large Loss Committee for the Department of Administrative Services which evaluates cases with significant exposure.

From 1985 - 1997, she practiced insurance defense litigation in-house with Travelers Insurance Company, where she tried more than 30 cases. Kathleen also handled administrative hearings before the State Board of Workers' Compensation and participated in numerous mediations.

In 1982, she graduated cum laude from Boston College with a bachelor's degree in History. In 1985, Kathleen earned her law degree from Emory University School of Law. She is admitted to the United States Supreme Court and all federal and state trial and appellate courts. She also manages the Attorney General Summer Internship Program and a Field Placement Program through Emory University School of Law.
