Duties & Responsibilities:
The primary duties of this position include, but are not limited to: answers consumer phone calls; Receives and processes complaints, inquiries and requests for information and/or assistance from the general public.  Refers any non-jurisdictional matters to appropriate resources.  Processes jurisdictional complaints by gathering and entering relevant information in a computer database. Generates response letters.

Minimum Training & Experience:
Position requires a MINIMUM of two years of college OR two years of experience in a fast paced, customer service setting communicating information or data to the public; demonstrated experience utilizing a computer to accurately enter data in Windows based applications; organized, focused, and detail-oriented.

Preference will be given to candidates who in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications meet one or more of the following:  Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in any field of study; experience working in an office setting (internships qualify); ability to handle high call volume using proper telephone etiquette; excellent English communication skills with good grammar (both spoken and written); knowledge of the Fair Business Practices Act; knowledge of Georgia state government structure and operations.
