Salary:  $60,000 MINIMUM Annual

Duties & Responsibilities
Attorneys in this section represent state government entities in employment-related litigation in both federal and state courts, advise clients across state government on a variety of employment matters including application of Georgia laws, rules of the State Personnel Administration and federal laws relating to discrimination and retaliation in employment and wage and hour.  Client contact is extensive, as is discovery and motions and brief writing.  Some travel is required.

Minimum Training & Experience
Member of the Georgia Bar AND graduation from an accredited law school.  Preference will be given to applicants with 3 or more years of litigation experience, to include discovery and motions practice.

Candidates that are being strongly considered for the position will also be required to submit a Georgia Department of Revenue Tax Clearance letter; the Department’s HR Director will provide information and instructions to obtain such.   SALARY IS COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE.
